The mission of the American Business Women’s Association is to bring together businesswomen of diverse backgrounds and to provide opportunities to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition.

President's Message:

I am pleased to announce that our chapter awarded a scholarship to Savannah Henderson at our January meeting. We also received a $500 donation to our scholarship fund from United Community Bank!

We are busy with plans for our second annual Table Top Stroll with Champagne and Chocolate to be held on May 1, 2014.  This fundraiser is a vendor showcase exhibition with shopping, networking, and chocolate!  If you attended this event last year, you will surely want to be with us again May 1.  Additional information is located on our "events" page.  Corporate sponsors and door prizes are needed.  Exhibitor tables are $50 each and general admission is $25 each.  Please contact us for tickets and vendor registration.

Shucks Pearls, a returning vendor from last year's event, will be gifting the first 25 a set of campaign pearls to all that donate $5 or more to our scholarship fund!

We meet monthly on the second Thursday of the month.  Our next meeting will be held on April 10, 2014. Our program speaker will be Leslie Frey, founder of Lifelong Learning Center.  She will share three key strategies that improve energy, motivation, and focus.

Networking begins at 5:30 p.m.; meeting begins at 6:00 p.m., Crowne Plaza Resort, Resort Drive, Asheville, NC.  The fee is $25.00 per person and includes dinner, a program speaker, and business meeting.  Please RSVP at email: abwaskyhychapter@gmail.com
